Today, we got up, Deb made cinnamon rolls and enjoyed the low humidity morning. No humidity is SO awesome!!
We headed down to Kolab Canyon, a smaller canyon north and west of Zion. Wasn’t as big as Zion, but less crowded and just as pretty. Only a 5 mile drive to the end of the canyon. This first set of pictures are of that excursion.
And….nothing eventful today!!
After visiting Kolab Canyon we decided to head east a little on 14 Highway and then south down a small county road to Kolab Reservoir. The road starts out a decent black top road, then turns to a dirt road after a few miles. Not sure, but about 20 miles of dirt road driving, took us quite a while to get there!
Once we got there, the dog was the happiest dog on the planet! He played till he was exhausted…he’ll sleep good tonight!!
We decided to go the south route back to the campsite, this way was all paved. It actually skirted the west side of Zion National Park and had some good scenery also. Last couple of pictures are from that road.
